Manual focus for Nikon V ED

Hallo,
if I understand the informations on your homepage right,
then manual focus control is only available for the Nikon 5000, but not für the Nikon V ED.
Is there a reason for this in the mechanical properties of the Nikon V ED ?, or is there a chance to add this feature also for the Nikon V ED. This would be very fine.
