Optional 'Auto-Sleep'

When I scan a whole roll of film, it can take many hours, especially when there are 40 frames set for 3-sample scanning with long exposure!

I'd like an option to have SilverFast put my Macintosh to sleep after it has completed a Batch or Job Manager operation.

regards
Gregory

I think the reason why your MAC isn?t going to sleep after a batch is that we play the batch end music again and again. In the next versions we play this sound only once and hopefully this will solve your problem.

Eric.

10 Years later I have a similar problem. Can't find a sleep mode option in Silverfast 6.6 2r4a (using it with a DigitDia 5000).

After scanning a roll of film my G4 eMac won't go into sleep mode, although I set the prefs to do so. I think this happens because of the "you're batch is finished" window popping up after scanning is complete. This message waits for a click on "OK" and prevents the Mac from going into sleep mode.

This wastes a lot of power, espacially when the scanner completed a role at e.g. midnight and the next time I'm at the computer is 9 a.m.

I need an option for sleep mode OR an option for turning this message off.

Dear Eric,

I gave the suggestion not to block the sleep mode to our developers.
