I'm a media Student and up so far I have used an Agfa DuoScan HiD with Silverfast Se for my Medium format Photos.
I recently got my hands on a used Heidelberg Saphir HiRes and was eager to test it. with the original software lost, I wanted to get Silverfast again, however Silverfast for Heidelberg Scanners is only available in Ai or bigger packages, who are quite expensive on a students budget.

since the UMax Scanners are almost identical copies of some of the Heidelberg Scanners and those UMax work with Silverfast SE, will it be possible in future to get a SE package for Heidelberg scanners too?

We only offer SilverFast Ai (Studio) for this scanner.
