SilverFast drop off after initialization screen

I have problem with running SilverFast SE with CanoScan 8800F. Version CanoSDK-SE(8ba) 6.5.5.r4. After appearing of “Initializing…†on initialization window it drop off.
What should I do? I can use the scanner with Canon SW.

Dear all,
at the early start of the Canon SilverFast bundle there was a problem with some driver versions not working with SF.
This should have been changed by Canon, still:
Could you try downloading a different version of the driver from Canon and giving it a second try ( newer version if available, older version if you are on the newes ) ??
If so, please give feedback whether that made a difference so we can share with other users and maybe also find & rliminate the incompatibility ?
