I find very unfortunate that the canyon 4200 is not supported. Can they tell me maybe, where has to do with this as well as, when is with an unterstüzuung to rechenen?

If I understand your post you find it unfortunate that the Canon 4200F scanner is not supported, and you would like LaserSoft to tell you how they determine which scanners they will support, right?
Not being a LaserSoft employee my guess would be they focus on the more popular scanners first.
