LaserSoft Imaging

Just downloaded and installed the newest release (18.05.2007).
This time photoshop CS3 (final version) doesn't crash anymore but the resulting images look kind of strange. :)
the first one worked, the second one was only noise and now this one (ok, this looks interesting, but not what i want).
I am using:
Canon 8400F
MacBook Pro (2GB Ram)
Mac OS X 10.4.9
newest Silverfast Studio Ai ME release

I just tried to scan some slides. The first ones (with the noise) where MultiExposure and 48bit HDR.
This one was scanned without ME and 48bit Color after a reboot.

Will there be a new Release soon?

by the way:
why is this forum so slowly? i can open about 4 posts and after that the server stops responding.
after a while (about an hour) it works again for the next few posts.

Ok, just deinstalled and deleted everything. reinstalled.
first a normal scan:
- 400dpi.
- 48bit color.
- one pass.
- no filters or anything.
that worked fine.

second attempt:
- same slide
- 48bit Color
- 1600dpi
- MultiExposure
- no filters
And this is the result



third attempt:
- file -> import -> silverfast doesnt work
- cs3services still opened
- killed cs3services via cmd+alt+esc
- the old "could not complete the import command..."-message. to lazy now to delete the preferences folder again. so no third attempt.

guys, i really like this software, but i think i can expect a software that costs about 200$ should be kind of stable.

can you please download the latest SilverFast installer (date May 19, 2007). The bug you mentioned should be fixed already.

just bought an nikon coolscan V ED.
tried to use the demoversion of ai studio me (downloaded yesterday).

the problem stays the same. all pictures look like noise and stripes as the one above.

don't want to buy a non-working version for my new scanner.

with the current version all these bugs are fixed now.
However, a new update will be online by tomorrow (Version 6.5.1r1).
