LaserSoft Imaging

I typically scan with my Nikon Coolscan 5000 with no problems. However I have some large format negatives that I need the Canon to scan. I turned on the scanner before turning on the computer and my Windows 7 operating did a web search and came back that all the current drivers were installed, but Silverfast still sees only the Nikon. Do I have to purchase a second license?

SilverFast is always individually tailored to each device.
A Nikon module can not access a Canon scanner.
The Canon indeed requires it's own module and license.
