LaserSoft Imaging

I have a Mac G4. I KNOW that UMAX did not provide drivers for OS X for the Astra 6450.

THis is my ISSUE and perhaps my disappointment.

I purchased Sliverfast SE 6
BUT it will NOT recognize my scanner as being connected to my MAC.
It is connected via firewire to a CD burner. I attached it directly to the G4 and still nothing.

THIS is where I may be disappointed:
I downloaded version E-6.10r7
And this one did =D

My REGISTRATION NUMBER that is on the case is NOT recognize by this version.

SO, please help me, is the r1 NOT what is going to work for me?
Why was there no option of PURCHASING the r7 version?
I HAVE to pay an additional $20 to ge the correct version?

PLEASE ADVISE!!!

PS I emailed in mid December and have not heard back

PSS I am trying to re-trace my steps, how did I get stuck with a CD and not the latest version being sent to me =/, please help..

First of all thanks for your interest in our Silverfast Software.

The Updates within a Version Nr., i.e. 6 are free and available for download from our website.

Please contact our support@silverfast.com with the Registration info you mentioned.
Please attach the mail from mid december because I would like to do some research in order to improve support response.
