LaserSoft Imaging

Hi all,

I've just recently bought an ArtixScan F1 for work. We've been using in on Mac OSX 10.6 and using SilverFast Ai 6.6. As others have noticed the initialising phase before a scan takes a considerable about of time. I'm looking for a way to reduce the amount of time the initialising phase takes. At the moment I have turned autofocus off and that has brought the total time in a batch scan down to a bit over 1 minute per image.

Any tips to get this time down would be much appreciated.
