I scanned some 1,850+ 35 mm slides (from '60s, '70s & '80s) using a Plustek 7600i Ai and SF Studio 6, using iSRD.

When I subsequently bought them into Photoshop, I found that iSRD had left tonnes of artifacts (see attachd).

I don't want to have to rescan them, so is there some sneaky way in Photoshop to get rid of them. I've tried using Hi-Pass filter, with limited success.

Hello Al,

To my knowledge there is currently no secret one click solution for this type of damage. Take a look at the individual color channels in Photoshop to see if the damage exists more in one color. If there is a color channel that doesn't have damage you might be able to use that channel to repair the damage.

In my experience it will take multiple methods of repair and will take time.
