Not scanning complete 35mm slide images

Hi Guys, I'm using an OpticFilm 7600i SE scanner with SilverFast 6.6 and It's not scanning my complete image on the slide. I've tried changing the orientation but nothing seems to work. It will cut off the top the side whatever. Is there somewhere in the software where you need to set dimensions for a slide to be completely scanned? Has any one else seen this?
Thanks and Happy New Year,
pwbond

Is the slide completely visible in the Prescan?
If not make sure the slide holder is correctly inserted and locked into position.
The scanner can not compensate for an off-set.
If it is shown correctly make sure the red scan frame is set correctly around the image content.
kind regards,

I have somewhat the same problem, but relating to negatives: When scanning either 35mm tri-x or plus-x negatives, the first scans - both in prescan and final scan mode - ALWAYS start in the middle of the picture, requiring me to cancel that particular procedure and start again. The second attempt always works. It seems like the process assumes that the first scan has not completed. I have the latest updates in Version 8 (SE- Plus) and have tried all possible manipulations, including resetting all settings and even re-installing the entire set of software. Additionally, I am using a Plustek OpticFilm 7400 scanner. My PC has an Intel Core i7 950 (3.07GH) Processor. I have installed 10240 MB memory and my video card is an NVidia Quadro pro 3800 card. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OS. There should be no capability problem. The negatives are correctly positioned. The orange frames are covering only the picture area. I don't think I am making any mistakes, as is evidenced by the second scan working correctly. What am I missing?

Have you tried reinstalling the latest drivers from the
Plustek site?
This is a strange issue.
