Exposure in Batch scanning

I scann 4 picture Negatives usually in batch. My problem is that all pictures in the batch get the same exposure. If the fist picture in the batch is exceptionally dark, then the exposure adjust to that and rest of the pictures becomes too light, and vice versa. Is there a way for automatically adjusting the exposure for each picture in a batch? I use Silverfast SE plus 6.6

Please activate the automatic for ADF/auto option in the options auto tab.
that will execute the image auto adjustment for all images in a batch.
kind regards,

I was somewhat assuming you are using an automated scanner.
Are you using a Flatbed device?
In this case the Image auto adjust has to be executed for each frame.

I have a Reflecta RPS 7200 film scanner, not a flatbed scanner.
The problem is that when I press the "Options" button in the main winwow, I get a new window with three tabs:
"General", "CMS" and "Special". None of these contain any ADF / auto option. I see no "auto" tab.

Did you insert a filmstrip before looking?
The option is only available when a filmstrip is loaded.

I have the same problem here with the Reflecta RPS 7200 scanner. There is no ADF option available.
Is this supported for this scanner ?

Dear Mannes,
Was the filmstrip correctly drawn in and did you select the batch option?
The scanner has to finish checking the Film length before SilverFast offers the Document feeder option.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Yes it was. I tried different scenarios but there is no ADF option available causing that all images are scanned with the same settings of the first image.

The "automatic with ADF" version is not included in the
SE version of SilverFast.
It actually is only included in SilverFast
Ai (Studio).
