Hello, First of all, sorry for my basic English

I need help to make good scans of xpro films (cross processing..E-6 developed as C-41).. I tried different ways to do it with silverfast but I couldn´t get satisfactory results. Somebody knows wich is the best way to do it?. I NEED URGENT HELP.. I am in the middle of an Artistic project in a Museum and a huge part of my work was made with xpro films!!

Kind regards

Hi there,

You might want to try creating scanner raw files out of your transparencies. This will create unmodified files, you can then tweak later on any application capable of dealing with 48 bit Tiff files (16 bits per channel).

For that you simply choose the 48 bit HDR scan mode, the scanning resolution and do the final scans

Cheers

Thank you Alejandro...but, with that tool, Will I get better results with colors and information of the film?

Since Xpro is not an standard processing, the software will try to neutralize the color shifts of every picture. That is why I am recommending you to create unmodified raw scans, you will obtain files which are true to your pictures.
