Auto select film frames

Hi there. Firstly, my apologies if this has been previously asked, as i'm sure it has. I tried using the search feature extensively but turned nothing up, most likely because I'm not really sure what I'm talking about.

New to scaning and silverfast obviously. I've been trying to figure out how you get silverfast to automatically select and scan the individual frames (scanning a heap of 35mm unmounted slides) in the software. All I can see to do is scan the entire scanner surface, and can't find any functionality to have it automatically select the individual frames and scan them as individual files. I know the feature is there, I've seen it in videos, I just can't find it anywhere. I'm using silverfast se plus in conjunction with a V700.

Cheers in advance, much appreciated!

Kind Regards
Jason Asher

Dear Mr. Asher,

The find frames function is located at the left side of the Preview window.

Hello,

I have just upgraded to SE Plus to get the auto frame detection but my version does not show the same toolbar as you show, It still looks the same as the old SE but the heading says SE Plus. I have tried resetting to factory defaults. What am I missing?
I am trying to complete a project and I need the auto frame detection function.

Thank you.

George

Dear George,

In SilverFast 8 you find the find frames option in the frame menu.
