Unable to do a final scan!

I am using SilverFast-SE Plustek OpticFilm 7200i. I just recently started using it, and I was successful with my first dozen slide scans. This morning, I started another run of slides. I am able to prescan, with the infra-red scan, make corrections to the image, and do dust and scratch removal. But when I press the Scan button to perform the final scan, nothing happens. I am no longer able to do any final scan, no matter what I try. I have restarted SilverFast SE, restarted the scanner, restarted the computer system, etc., and no matter what I do I cannot perform a final scan. I'm running on a powerful PC with Windows XP Pro - SP3. I am out of options. Please help!

Try resetting the Prefs for SilverFast. Here are the instructions http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html?filter=assistant&sub=techsupport&faq_id=59
