Silverfast SE v6.6.0r2 does not scan negatives correctly.

I am using the lastest Silverfast SE (recently updated from the web), which was included in the package of Epson V700 Photo scanner.
After prescan with the color negative film, I clicked to the right of "Pos/Neg:" under the General tab and selected "Negative". Then, [NegaFix] window pops up. I selected Kodak, <Other>, Ultra Color100. As soon as I close the [NegaFix] window, "Pos/Neg:" is quickly changed back to "Positive". It never shows as "negative" with other film types listed. The image also remains as negative and if I scan, the result is color negative. So, I had to use Photoshop to invert the color. With earlier version (v6.5) that came with the scanner, I could scan the color negative. Can I scan the color negatives with this updated version?
