sf launcher.exe still running after closing SF

Postby moberle2002 » Sat Nov 03, 2007 1:39 pm

As I didn't get any answer from support so far, may be somebody here is listening:

After closing SF, the launcher remains as a running process and consumes
about 40% cpu time and about 30 MB RAM on a dualcore system. When tryingto start SF again a second process is started and the system nearly
freezes. issue can only be resolved by killing the process through the
taskmanager.

Dear moberle2002

there's no support request to be found for the email address you are using for your nick in this forum.

The SF_Launcher can be closed after closing the SilverFast scanning interface. As your post lacks any more information necessary to follow this issue, and I do not have similar reports either from internal sources or other customers, I suggest you want to download and install the latest update release of your version of SilverFast from our website. You might experience that this already does solve your problem.

If not, please don't hesitate to contact support: https://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html
How to help support staff to help you: https://www.silverfast.com/faq/1058/en.html

Please note that the purpose of the imaging forum is not to provide personal support. It is intended to serve as a platform for imaging professionals for exchange of experience and communicating ideas [ viewtopic.php?p=9763&highlight=9763 ].
Therefore LSI staff will only provide limited support in the forum.
Thank you in anticipation of your kind co-operation.
