Hi!
Got some serious problems with silverfast Ai IT8 v6.5.1r3. I've tried to scan with both the Standalone and twain in cs3. When i scan in Twain photoshop crashes in the middle of the pre-scan. When i scan in the stand alone, the program get's unresponsive and has to be killed. I'm using Windows XP Professional. I've Uninstalled and re-installed, I've removed all silverfast related files from the registry (I must say, your uninstaller kinda sucks).
I've tried everything i can come up with, but I just can't get the damned program to work. Please need some serious help here.
The funniest thing is that i can scan with epsons own software without a fuzz.

Arkpressen,
I don't know if you have tried this or checked for the existence of C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins\Import-Export\SilverFast (Epson).
When I upgraded from CS to CS2 I discovered the installer was not recognizing the existence of the CS2 installation. I copied/created a shortcut pointing to the SilverFast (Epson).8ba file in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Import-Export\ folder and the next time I started CS2 I was able to use the SilverFast plug-in Vs TWAIN.
It is worth a try in the mean time.
