LaserSoft Imaging

Hello

I have installed SilverFast Ai 6.4.4r2. I am experiencing the same problem as other useres. SF quits during scan while iSRD, sometimes crashes when I try to start it.

When I once in a while get an image from the Software the iSRD didn't do its job. In the preview mode (in the iSRD configuration dialog) iSRD works quite good, but on the final image there is lots of dust.

I would really like to go back to the Version 6.4.3r8 but i have only the version 6.4.3r9 on my cd. Can I download the older version somewhere?

please try if deleting the "Prefs" folder (while SF isn't running) and does improve the situation.

On a typical Windows XP installation, the SilverFast "Prefs" folder is to be found at:
C: \ Documents and Settings \ (your username) \ Application Data \ Lasersoft Imaging \ SilverFast \

If that action doesn't help, please don't hesitate to contact me using the <a href="http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html?topic=Usage">support request form</a> for temporary download availability of the 6.4.3r8 release.
