Silverfast Ai produces garbage when trying to save as .jpg

Postby mamdanie » Sat Jul 16, 2005 4:12 pm

if I scan more then ca. 30 dia slides, the produced jpg-pictures have nothing to do with the original slide.

think it?s a software bug

is it a known bug?

Which scanner do you use? Which SilverFast version? What do you mean with "the produced jpg-pictures have nothing to do with the original slide"? The JPEG images are readable, but the contents is not the image you did expect or somehow damaged?

I suggest you want to download and install the latest update release of your version of SilverFast from our website. You might experience that this already does solve your problem.

i have a Reflecta DigitDia 4000 Scanner and run windows xp home edition

my silverfast version was 6.4.2r1c - now it is the newest available version.

in the last 4 weeks I now got my 3rd update - what?s wrong with the software?

not only the jpeg?s were scrambled but also the tiff?s - when I reboot the whole system every 20th scanned slide I have no problems at all
