IT8 calibration creates "false color" profiles ...

Has anyone else encountered this? I wanted to recalibrate my
scanner and also add a 2nd profile for Fuji Provia, but with the version
I am now using (AI for Minolta 5400, 6.0.2r6), the profiles created
are totally wrong. and produce false color image when used. A check
with the LCMS profile checker confirmed that the profiles have a
problem (basically, the gamma values for some colours are off the scale).
Reinstalling didn't help, also when I use the old profile (which was generated
by an older version of SF), the colours are OK, so it looks as if there
is a new bug in the calibration. Targets etc. have also been checked,
they are OK.
Thanks,
Oliver
