Problem with Paintshop Pro

I'm a newbie - apologies if this is a stupid question.

I use Jasc Paintshop Pro for 'quick and dirty' work. I'm using Silverfast AI and Epson 2450. If I import Twain using Epson Twain everything works as expected. If I import using Silverfast Twain I get no image. I guess I'm missing something but what is it?
thanks

Dear boba

welcome to the world of SilverFast :)

I am not quite sure if Jasc Software's Paintshop Pro adheres to the TWAIN standard in the same way SilverFast does.
I would advise you use the Photoshop Plugin/Standalone version of SilverFast, then save your scanned images, and load the files into Paintshop from its file menu.

There is actually an update for Paint Shop Pro available, which is supposed to deal with this issue.

I just ran a quick test with an Epson 2450, the Paint Shop Pro 8.10 evaluation version and the SilverFast 6.2.1r4 Ai TWAIN-Plugin version under Win XP.
=> ran smoothly.

Please feel free to download a demo version (from our website at: Download -> SilverFast demo.

This way you can easily assure yourself that your personal systems configuration does work before buying anything.
Thus you are able to explore all the features of SilverFast and check if it suits your needs.
