LaserSoft Imaging

I use Silverfast Demo version to see if it will work with my setup.
The image in the prescan is distorted at an angle of about 45?.
If I change the resolution of the prescan, the image gets completely distored to unrecognizable.
The final scan however is fine, so I have to scan the whole imagearea to be able to crop what I want in the final scan.
How do I fix this?

SO X Pather is not testet fully. We have a "Pather Ready" Symbol for all positiv tested Scanners. In your case is the SCSI connection, which could cause trouble.
Also please look at the special Options, if you could switch off the prescan draft.
