LaserSoft Imaging

I downloaded Silverfast 6.0.1r36 this week. Installation required uninstalling the prior version, so I did so. Installed the upgrade (for the Microtek ArtixScan 4000TF), and now I cannot even do a prescan or overview without getting "Error in Start - Cannot calibrate scanner". All the settings are exactly as they were previously. Where did I go wrong? Silverfast definately sees the scanner. I can even get Silverfast to eject the slide holder if one is inserted, and I get a different error if no media is inserted. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the scanner, but still get the same error.

There is another report in the Installations topic with exactly the same issue.
I unistaller r36, reinstalled r26, and it works fine again. The problem appears to have been introduced with a build between r27 and r36.

Please update your version of ScanWizard Pro TX:

and keep us informed.

The drivers (not installed with SilverFast) seem to have been the problem
