LaserSoft Imaging shows up on scanned negatives

I am wondering why the words "LaserSoft Imaging" is written in several places all over the photos I scanned from slides. I have SilverFast SE ver. 6.5 and a plustek OpticFilm 7200 scanner.

Dear Ann,
That happens when SilverFast is not serialized and therefor working in
demo mode.

Thank you so much for your help. I found the serial number and can scan photos without the LaserSoft Imaging on them. Ann
