i dont know if i am the only one this is happening to. i installed the software Silverfast SE on my imac (Yosemite), registered the software and started scanning. i scanned 4 images (negatives) and everything went fine...dust and scratch removal did what it was supposed to....then i updated the software to the newest version...and since then nothing works the way it should. if i dont use the USM or iSRD it's fine...but as soon as i do it not scanning it right. ill try to attache the image.
i also uninstalled and reinstalled the programe.....no change....still the same problems....if anybody has a solution to it, please share. it is frustrating.
thanks

Re: Problems with Silverfast and ISRD
Dear customer,
B&W film unfortunately can not be corrected using infrared scratch and dust removal.
The silver halide emulsion blocks the infrared beam preventing the scanner from collecting the necessary data.
Therefor iSRD must be deactivated for this kind of film.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
