iOS JobMonitor App does not find Silverfast on Mac
PostPosted: Thu May 07, 2015 8:56 am
I have just upgraded my OS X (V10.10.3) SilverFast and HDR apps to 8.5.0r4. The e-mail I received about this update also told me about the iOS JobManager App, which I have also installed on my iPad (iOS 8.3).
However, when I start the app, it tells me it is searching for Active SilverFast software, which fails with a "Sorry - no software found" message. Both the iMac and iPad are on the same LAN. I am able to ping the iMac and iPad in both directions, and can SSH from the iPad in to the iMac with no problems, so LAN connectivity between the two is good. The firewall on the iMac is disabled as well. I can see 2 Bonjour services advertised on the iMac from my PC (rfb, sftp), so Bonjour is running fine. If I open the JobManager in SF there is a message "JobManager iOS monitoring disabled" at the bottom of the window, but I can't see a way to enable it though. Any help please?
Thanks,
Steve
