LaserSoft Imaging

I'm using Silverfast Ai with a Reflecta RPS 7200. I start the scanner, then I start Silverfast, but whenever I load either a film strip or a mounted slide, the software reports that it is loading the film holder and will restart. This happens if I load a film strip first or a mounted slide first, whether I start the scanner before the software or after. I then have to click 'ok' to close the software and then it restarts. It's a bit annoying, is there anyway to switch this off by setting a default film holder (I mostly scan strips).

The restart unfortunately is necessary to load the individual settings and options for the two scan modes the scanner offers.
I will forward your request for a fixed setting to our product management.
