The Konica VX400 is used in one of their popular "single use" cameras. Not exactly highest quality, but I have a number of these negatives to scan. The current NegaFix has a profile for VX100, but the results are far too "grainy". Is there a profile for VX400, or can someone suggest another profile that is a better match?
Thanks
Paul

Konica VX100/400 NegaFix profile with grainy results
We would like to evaluate one of your scans done with the Konica VX400 film. Please submit a raw data scan if possible via email and inform us what scanner you are using.
Please send file to

I am happy to provide you with the information you need, however I do not know how to create a "raw data scan". If you could provide me with instructions or a web page that describes the procedure, I will send the results to you. A am using SilverFast SE 5.5.2 with a Pacific Image Electronics PrimeFilm 1800u.
