Is NegaFix profile embedded in HDR scans?

I intend to scan in all my negs in HDRi mode with Ai Studio, then process them later with HDR Studio with colour correction etc. applied.

If I choose the NegaFix profile in Ai Studio at scan time, can it be stored in the RAW image (as metadata) so when I later load it in to HDR Studio I won't need to reselect the profile in the dialog again?

Because at a later date I will not remember what the neg type originally was so I am thinking of a way to avoid taking notes.

Currently when I set the NegaFix profile in Ai Studio and then load the file into HDR Studio, the NegaFix dialog only picks up on the scanner model and the other options are <Other>/<Other>/<Standard>.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. As a matter of fact information about the specific NegaFix profile will not be saved in the files. You can however use the IPTC button on the preview window to save the film information.

Later in HDR Studio under VLT mode the IPTC information can be read and the proper profile selected.

We will discuss the possibility of implementing an automatic saving of this information in future versions of SilverFast.

Thanks. In fact, noting the film type as a comment via IPTC is exactly what I have been doing!

I hope you do decide to implement embedding the NegaFix profile name in HDR files as I believe it will simplify the work-flow a little.
