SE(plus) 6.5.0r3d, Negafix and Batch scanning problems

hi,
i have been trying to use negafix in batch scanning but there seems to be inconsistancies with how it works.
I would expect that negafix would work out individual settings for each neg in the batch, but this does not seem to be the case.
i.e. if i am scanning a batch of 5 negs, the first 3 may scan fine but the last 2 will have huge colour casts(i.e night shots) but if i go back and preview the last 2 negs and scan them individually, the results are different.
this would lead me to believe that negafix is not making individual adjustments in a batch scan.
HOW DO I MAKE A BATCH SCAN SO THAT EACH NEG WILL BE INDIVIDUALLY ANAYSED? (i have tried making a thumbnail prescan, )
I hope there is a way to do this as it makes the batch scanning of negs virtually useless.
many thanks in advance
