Cannot save modified profile

I have latest update of SIlverfast Ai for Nikon Coolscan 9000 installed on my Win 2000 Server machine.
In the past I was be able to modify preinstalled profiles for some negative films and save them using "Save As". But starting from on of the recent upgrades my custom profiles disappeared. And I cannot create new ones. Please advise!

What I do:

1. In NegaFix window I select Fuji NPH 400 6x6.
2. Colors are not good enough and I switch to expert mode.
3. I hit "Curves" tab (to eliminate colour casts.)
4. I click on pencil to start Edit mode and modify curves.
5. I click on ?Save as?- button. It gives me by default an original "Fuji NPH 400 6x6" name. I modify it to, say "Fuji NPH 400 645".
6. I hit OK button. NegaFix switches to <Other> films. When I select Fuji NPH again my new profile is not here. It is not saved at all.

Does someone experienced the same bug? What to do?

I also noticed another small but annoying bug: every time I start Silverfast it opens "Welcome to Silverfast" dialog. Unchecking "Show this dialog at startup" doesn't help. Next time it opens it again.

And one more bug, this one is critical: I inserted a film strip with 6x6 frames. Silverfast still showed 6x4.5. When I switched to 6x6 filmformat a combobox flickered couple of times and the automatically switched back to 6x4.5. No way to scan 6x6! I was forced to use Nikon software instead.

I guess all three errors might be actually one bug in Silverfast. Could you help me and tell what to do? I spen too much money on it.

Dear vkelman

sounds very much like we should examine this internally.

As the imaging forum isn't a support platform, but provided for exchange of ideas between imaging professionals, please don't hesitate to contact LaserSoft Imaging support staff: http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html

Simply copy-paste your forum info into the problem report. Thanks very much in advance for your co-operation.

Kind regards

Thank you Sonny! I already did it about 10 days ago but no one contacted me after it. I wonder if some IP along the way blocks email messages from Imaging Support to me? But I think I gave them my phone number as well.

I'm pretty sure it's some software/drivers conflict on my machine, but I cannot find it. I tried to uninstall SilverFast completely and even wipe out registry entries and then install it again. It didn't help.

Dear vkelman

looks like you are an US customer. I will check with my colleagues in Florida if your case could have been resolved meanwhile.

Best regards
