Color profiles & "c" in auto-adjust

Hello all,

I've spent most of my day on the attached problem so I would really appreciate any help I can get. I run Silverfast SE 6.6 with a Plustek 7500i scanner.

Following scanning a set of slides (which went very well) I've switched to Negafix and started scanning negatives. Immediately when I've done so the colored "c" on the "image auto-adjust dissapeared. I understand that this means there is no consistency in color so I've deinstalled and reinstalled it numerous times, with no success however. Something strange I've noticed is that input is locked to "SFprofT" (ie transparency) and cannot be changed. Any help?

Additionally and along the process I've checked the Color Management settings on windows. There I was surprised to find that the color profile listed for my scanner is a different one (the one for 7200i) and remained such despite re-installing the drivers. Again not sure why and how to resolve.

Overall I would appreciate some guidance on the above,

many thx,

Panos

Dear Panos,

The small "c" means that an individual ICC profile is in use.
NegaFix uses special negative profiles and therefor the "c" is not shown.
So this is the correct behavior.

Some devices use profiles which are created for several devices.
Otherwise you find all profiles currently installed in the input pull-down menu.

Kind regards,
