Software is Silverfast 8 Ai Studio
Operating system is Mac OS X 10.8.2


I am trying to profile my scanner using one of your IT-8 targets. The

action was successful and an icc profile file was made that was saved to my

desktop with my defined name. When I go to preferences>CMS>profiles>input

my icc profile is not listed. I am guessing that the file needs to be in a

specific folder but I do not know which folder it should go in. Please

advise.

Additionally, when I start Silverfast 8 Ai the scanner listed is Reflecta MS Scanner USB, not my Powerslide 5000

Dear customer,

when you set the file name and saving location for the profile manually you need to make sure it is placed in the right directory.

If you deactivate the custom filename the profile will automatically be saved in the correct position.

You can manually move profiles to the folder

/Library/ColorSync/Profiles

When a profile is placed here it will be available in SilverFast.
