I have purchased a Plustek OpticFilm 7600i scanner and the Silverfast SE application came with it. I downloaded the latest version 8 and activated it. The application works just fine with one exception;
Every time I start the application a Registration window appears telling me the following;
This is the registration page
Currently loading content from the internet...
If this message remains there is a problem with the internet connection and/or firewall
Each time I have to push the Skip registration button
How can I get rid of this message? My product is registered.

Re: Registration and activation
Dear Berra,
in the lower left corner of the rgistration dialogue window, there's a little button which you can tick.
That will do just what you want.
Best,
JAN

Re: Registration and activation
Yes, of course Jan. But will that prevent me from using the product in the future? I don't want to run in any 'Demo' mode. I'm afraid of that this Registration process is mandatory, but maybe it's not?
Regards,
Bertil

Hi Berra
NO, it will not prevent you from using the product in the future
No, it is no mandatory but is convenient, should you need any future help, our colleagues might be able to find important information about your product.
Cheers
