How to install the update

I have SilverFast Ai 5.5 including the IT-8 calibration installed. I have now downloaded an update. How do I install the update? Shall I install it over my old installation, or shall I uninstall the old installation?
What serial number shall I use? The first serial number for SilverFast Ai 5.5 or the serial number for the IT-8 calibration?

You can do both, however uninstall the old installation should be prefered.

If you choose to uninstall first, you have to serialize with the base serial number first and upgrade to IT8 in the credits dialog, exactly as you did in your first installation.

If you install the update in the same place as the first installation, you will keep your preferences (saved settings and so on...).
