Compatibility of silverfast Ai and MacOS 10.5.8

I am just wondering if it's straightforward to install the older version of Silverfast Ai (version 5) on my iMac which is running system 10.5.8. My scanner is a Microtek 870. At the moment the scanner is linked up to a G3 and I am using Microtek Scanwizard, which has its limitations. Are there going to be any problems transferring over to my new Mac ?

Probably you might face some issues. SilverFast 5 is not compatible with your iMac with 10.5.8.
Probably the latest version of SilverFast will work on your new mac.
