I have new computer with Windows 7 64bit. I downloaded the Windows 7 standalone software 6.6.2r2 (Epson V750) from website and installed. During install, Windows 7 displayed message that it encountered problem and needed to close. However, it seems to launch ok.
Currently I have CS3 32bit and CS5 32/64 bit versions installed since I just upgraded. I did see Silverfast in CS3 menu, but not in CS5 32bit menu so I copied the Silverfast plugin to the CS5 32bit import/export directory and now it apepars to load correctly in 32bit at least.
So is the software listed under Windows 7 64 bit downloads really just 32 bit compatible? I noticed that it was installing the program in x86 program directory. Is it not possible to run the plugin in 64bit CS5?
And is the TWAIN driver 32 bit or 64 bit?
Thank you for clarifying this.
Is Silverfast AI it8 6.6.2r2 64 bit?

Hi there
That is absolutely right, SilverFast works in 32 bits mode. It is not possible to run in SilverFast as a Plugin in PS CS5 64 bits.
It is a 32 bit application.
Cheers
