Hi all,
Just a quick note that others may find useful, I've just updgraded from Vista 64-bit to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and have been re-installing all of my software.
I've come across a small issue regarding the installation of SilverFast HDR Studio for the Epson V750 Scanner (SFen-6.6.1r4c(HDRStudio). Installation will begin normally but then freeze part way through the installation, with windows immediately throwing up an error message and aborting the install. This same issue affected the two versions that I tried (6.6.1r4a and 6.6.1r4c).
I managed to get the software to install by right clicking the installer file, selecting properties and then the compatability tab, setting the compatability mode to "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" and then re-running allowed the install to complete normally.

Thanks for your contribution. Although we intensively test SilverFast in all operating systems and have not observed this yet, we will have it in mind in case other users inform of this behavior.

I experienced a similar problem. I have attempted to install HDRStudio multiple times and it freezes with an error message part way through. I did not upgrade from Windows Vista as the poster below, my computer came with Win7 nor from previous version of Silverfast, this is my first time using the software. I tried turning off computer, but still get same error. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Please make sure you are using the most recent SilverFast Version.
This issue only occurs with SilverFast Versions not designed for Windows 7.
