just installed SF that came with my epson v700 to use with my second scanner, epson v500, but scanner is not being found. what should i do?

You are using SilverFast v 6.4, the first thing you should have in mind in this case is that version 6.4 of SilverFast is not compatible with Leopard.

The second thing is that SilverFast is designed to work precisely with only one scanner model. It means that you need to purchase another serial number which contains precise information about your V500 and install the right module for your scanner.
