An update install question

I've just downloaded Silverfast Ai V6.6.0r6 to update V6.5.5r3 (Photoshop plugin). It's been a while since I updated Silverfast and I've forgotten whether I just install the update 'on top of' the existing installation or need to uninstall V6.5 before doing the installing the update. I would be grateful for a clarification. Thank you.

Dear Felix,
You do not have to keep the old version of SilverFast to install the update, you can uninstall older versions before installing the latest one. SilverFast updates are full installation programs.
