Re: Installing DLL
Dear artlover,
please try not to double post, you asked the same question before...
Sometimes the answer takes a little time
Nevertheless here's the answer:
This is not a problem, on older W2k Installations without updates or without a lot of installed apps this dll is missing, so we try to install it.
As the file is protected this fails for the installer.
But as this also means the file is already there you can safely ignore it !
best regards,
Nils Heidorn

Re: Installing DLL
How to install / uninstall DLL and AX codec / filter files
1. Unarchive the package and use the files from Release folder if you're running Windows 9x/Me or Release Unicode if you're running Windows 2000/XP.
2. Copy DLL or AX files in system32 folder [ C:\WINDOWS\system32 ]
3. Click on Start > Run... To install the files, type: regsvr32 filename.dll or regsvr32 filename.ax To uninstall the files, use: regsvr32 -u filename.dll or regsvr32 -u filename.ax
4. In the end, you should receive a message saying that your file was succesfully installed/uninstalled.

Re: Installing DLL
I am trying to add the IIS 5.1 component to my windows xp pro SP3. It gets stuck with the error message: setup cannot copy the file staxmem.dll, from the directory path: c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386.

Re: Installing DLL
Dear purplesunrise,
those problems with the DLL's you mention are not caused by or related to SilverFast as we do not use / update / lock those DLL's.
So apart from other talented users i do not think that we can help you there
Good luck anyways !
