Vista x64

Since SilverFast seems to be the defacto scanner management software this is a go/no go issue with buying a scanner at all.
What's so:
I have a Vista x64 based workstation for all the memory management advantages as well as speed. This is a huge issue with any high-end graphics programs and it will be the graphics people (your market niche) that will move to x64 systems first. Finagling a new x32 partition is not gonna happen due to the cost of buying another (outdated) OS, figuring out how to setup a separate partition and all the hours and hassle to iron out the kinks and putting my main business system at risk. I have no interest in spending thousands for a new computer to run Apple, Linux or other operatings systems and dedicating all the significant hours to learn as well as maintaining a new OS either. It should be noted that Microsoft has announced that they are no longer selling XP, so now all new computers will have Vista x32 or x64.
(Stepping down off of my soapbox)
The question is if or at all or when might an Vista x64 version might be available? Never?
Secondary question: I have a long list of x32 apps/programs that play nice and run happily in a stable fashion on my x64 system as it is designed to accomodate that. Will/can Silverfast also run as a x32 app on my Vista x64? That seems very reasonable to me, but will it?
Thanks
