v6.4.2r5c installs, but v6.0.1r16 remains

On my Windows 2000 (with SP4), I had installed frmo CD Silverfast Ai for Polaroid Sprintscan 120 Version 6.0.1r16, last night I have downloaded the latest version 6.4.2r5c, and installed it. Twain and freestanding Program. Scanner is attached via Firewire.

Unfortunetely, when I start the scan, and when with the open scan window I open the "About" window, Silverfast shows itself as the old version 6.0.1r16.

I have tried several times, deinstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, what have you. To no avail.

What gives?

The Problem was that the installer put the new SilverFast (Polaroid).ds and SilverFast (HDR).ds in the directory \WINNT\Twain_32, and left the old versions Polaroid.ds and SF HDR.ds in \WINNT\Twain_32\Lasersoft unchanged.

Moving the two files to their proper subdirectory, Lasersoft, and renaming the old files solved the problem.

Please fix the installation routine!

I think that a similar problem occured with the upgrade from 5.2 to 5.5, if I remember well, or from 5.5 to 6.
