Upgrade 5.5 to 6, Lost Settings in Scan Window

Upgraded today from AI 5.5 to AI 6 for EPSON 836XL SCSI scanner with Photoshop 7.0. I had many different SETTINGS in 5.5 and they don't appear with 6. Do I have to recreate all of them or is there a way to import them or a file to copy ? Thanks

I am sorry to tell you that your settings can't be imported to
Version 6, in our new Versions all preferences will be
future compatible.
