Microtek Scanmaker i900 fails to operate under MAC OS10.41

My name is Alan and this is my first time on this forum and hope to contribute to the discussions in the future. I have had my Microtek 900 scanner since December 04 with no problems what so ever until I upgraded to Tiger 10.41. I can establish contact with the scanner and perform a Prescan, set up my operating perameters using SilverFast (Microtek) (E-6.2.1r9 Serial) and press SCAN - Nothing happens. The SF Launcher and File meno do not work.

I have changed the USB cable, polished the outside of the scanner and even called it names. Can anybody help before somebody needs me to produce a scan.javascript:emoticon(':(')

Dear Alan,

just download the latest update - the problem with the scan button not working under Tiger was fixed in version 641r7.
