I upgraded my OSX to Tiger and since then have not been able to scan images. I uninstalled SilverfastAI and upgraded to the latest 6. Still, I can prescan an image through Photoshop but when I hit the scan key, nothing happens. Any clues?

Dear all.
It might be that your problem is not related to the fix we made in 641r8. Please fill in a problem report at:
http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport and your request will be handled by the support team.
Best regards

I received this helpful email from Siilverfast:
"The instructions are: Mac OS X: From hard drive, go to ?Applications,
Adobe Photoshop, Plug-Ins, Import/Export and trash the SilverFast
folder from here. Also, in Applications, you will find a ?SilverFast
Application? folder, trash this one. You will also find a folder under
the ?User? folder. Open your username, Library, Preferences and trash
the ?LaserSoft Imaging? folder.
Once you have uninstalled SilverFast from all three locations, then
reinstall your update or redownload and install. You should see when
you launch it if it is the 6.4.1r7 or r8. version. These are the
versions that is compatible with Tiger."
Be sure to have your Silverfast serial number handy, because once you download the update you need to type it in the box where they had a demo version serial number instead. Good luck! I'm happy now, finally got it to work. Whew!
