Hi

I'm considering purchasing your scanning software. I downloaded your demo and everything works great but the IT-8 Calibration is disabled.

Is there another demo that allows me to test the IT-8 Calibration? As this is the primary reason for me choosing your product it is difficult to make a discision with it being disabled.

Best Regards

Dear Bill_Crenshaw.

Thanks for the interest in our software.
The IT8 is disabled on purpose.

What other info would help you decide ?

Best regards.

Well, I would actually like to use it. I don't understand why it would be disabled in the demo. Either way the scanned images are watermarked so they cannot be used.

Can I download a version that has it enabled or is there some sort of demo key that can give me access to it for a couple of days for testing?

Dear Bill.

Since we create common icc-profiles frankly we can not offer demo versions with calibration enabled cause they could be used for input calibration only.

Please find additional info her --> www.epson.com.au/pdf/silverfastit8.pdf

Kind regards.

How can you provide a demo that does not allow this?

You keep sending me links on the documentation of the IT-8 feature but you don't understand that before making a $228 purchase I want to test drive the whole product not a part of it.

I have read all the product information on the IT-8 feature. This still does not replace me actually trying the software. I would like to go with your product over v**s**n but how can you expect me to spend over double amount on your product when v**s**n has comparable features including IT-8 for a fraction of the cost?

I really need to justify this purchase and the only way I can do this is by trying a demo that has IT-8 enabled.

Is there anybody other than yourself that can provision this?

Kind Regards
