Won?t recognize scanner

Postby jkapa » Sun Feb 22, 2004 4:31 pm

Hi

Just downloaded a demo of SF Ai and was really looking forward to try it but can?t get it to work. I?ve already tried the Photoshop plug-in and the Twain.

My OS is XP and Microtek Filmscan 1800 - the install files I?ve downloaded are according to this. The weird thing is that in CyberView (Microtek?s software) it?s recognized instantly. Also upon the error box (the csanner not found error) it tells me to check the log file but it actually doesn?t create one at least not in Silverfast or Import-Export folder.

Any help would be apreciated.

J

Update:

Finally found the log file (it went to a strange directory but whatever)

Hope this helps.

Dear fox

the point is there for historical purposes. You are completely right in the confusion, however.
I'll think about it and I might have that subforum closed.

Dear Alex

<a href="http://www.silverfast.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3772&highlight=">turned out</a> your sarcasm wasn't justified:
Canceling your own request was the reason for "not getting an answer".

Kind regards
