won't install 2nd silverfast product

hello...I have silverfast AI6 installed(photoshop plug-in)...I also tried to install SE to read sigma scans which are tiff files....The error came up that there is another silverfast product installed and i would have to remove it to install SE...is this right and is there something I can do to have both installed on my computer...I'm running windows XP...Pentium 4...thaank you..Rory in Nashville

Please check, if both versions of SilverFast are the same. each SilverFast version could only be installed once. The name of the version is visible in the installer name or as name of the installed Plug-in in the Photoshop/Plug-in/Import-Export folder.
